Hey! I’m Ayana.

I help women and men who struggle with chronic dieting, disordered eating, and body image concerns make peace with food and their bodies.

Being constantly preoccupied with how your body looks is stressful.

Have you devoted your entire life to weight loss? Does everything you do revolve around how your body looks? Food is just one of many factors that contribute to your well-being. Unfortunately, you’ve probably been led to believe that the constant pursuit of weight loss is the cure-all for most health concerns. But this is far from the truth. The truth is that your weight loss efforts could be causing more harm than good.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Are all sessions virtual?

Yes. At this time, all sessions are virtual.

+ Do you accept insurance?

At this time, we only accept BCBS and HSA/FSA cards. Additionally, you can request a super-bill at the end of each session that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have an out of network benefit. It is your responsibility to determine if your insurance will reimburse you for nutrition services.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

Your appointment will start at your scheduled time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Failure to do so will result in one session being deducted from your nutrition program (waived for the first instance). All nutrition sessions must be used within six months from your initial appointment. If you wish to cancel your nutrition program, within 30 days of your first appointment, a 50% refund will be issued. No refunds will be issued after 30 days.

+ Can I purchase a single session?

Body image work and unlearning diet culture requires consistency, accountability, and follow-up. For that reason, I only offer single sessions to clients who have already completed the True To You Program. However, smaller packages are available. Please schedule a discovery call for more information.

+ What is the difference between a dietitian and a nutritionist?

Great question. I wrote a blog post about it. You can read about it here.
